Siri logoSiri, the voice driven personal assistant from Apple, has been around in various forms for a number of years.  Apple have until now always considered Siri to be in beta (the software is feature complete by requires rigorous testing).

It now appears the beta tag has been removed from Siri.

Siri was initially a standalone Application for iOS, however in April 2010 Apple paid around $200m and eventually integrated it directly into iOS. In October 2011 Siri lunched as a new feature along with the iPhone 4S. Siri was the first real product Apple  'launched' to the public with a beta tag. Since then it has continued to carry the little caveat noting that it is not quite a complete product.

The Apple website has in the last few days dropped the beta tag in all reference to Siri. This comes just a few days ahead of the official launch of iOS 7, on 18th September 2013.

Apple clearly think Siri is ready, but what are your thoughts? I would love to hear how you use Siri; what are the best and worst features? If you are not a user, why not? Have you tried it recently or are you basing your knowledge on earlier test.
