Dyson DC39It looks like Samsung are not afraid of a the courtroom. They are certainly no stranger to the process.

Now Dyson in the UK is suing Samsung.

Last week the South Korean giant took time to show off the Samsung 'Motion Sync' at a trade fare. Dyson has taken umbrage at the design and have specific concerns over the steering mechanism, which it claims copy the Dyson DC39 and DC37 models.

Sir James Dyson said

Samsung has many patent lawyers so I find it hard not to believe that this is a deliberate or utterly reckless infringement of our patent.

This is not the first time the two have battled it out in the courts. In 2009 Samsung was ordered to pay just over half a million pounds to Dyson for attempting to patent existing vacuum technology(!); specifically the triple-cyclone.

The legal papers were lodged in the High Court in England. Samsung offered no comment.
